Direct-from-manufacturer production

Precision machined components for food processing equipment

Built for demanding environments

Components designed for chemical washdowns, temperature cycles, tight tolerances, and hygienic equipment requirements.

Engineered for uptime

Machined parts built for food processing machinery

Food sorting, processing, packaging, and conveying equipment operates under rigorous conditions. Frequent chemical washdowns, extreme temperature cycles, and strict hygienic requirements can expose weak materials or poorly finished parts.

We manufacture custom precision spacers, sleeves, bushings, standoffs, shafts, pins, and turned components from your 2D or 3D CAD models, material specifications, and surface finish requirements.

Product scope

Primary components we produce

Select the geometry, material, and finish required for your assembly. Each component is manufactured to the supplied engineering specification.

Product Typical materials Common applications
Precision spacers 316L / 304 stainless steel, aluminum Axial positioning of bearings, gears, and structural frames in washdown zones
Spacer sleeves Stainless steel, steel, POM Shaft protection, rotating assembly alignment, and conveyor roller mounts
Stepped and flanged spacers Stainless steel, aluminum, brass Multi-diameter mounting hardware for packaging machinery drive systems
Threaded spacers and standoffs Stainless steel, aluminum Internal or external threaded spacing for sensors and equipment enclosures
Precision bushings Stainless steel, brass, engineering plastics Wear-resistant guides for linear motion and rotary shafts
Custom turned shafts and pins Stainless steel, carbon steel Drive shafts, hinge pins, and locating pins with custom keyways and chamfers

Material selection

Materials for hygienic and washdown environments

Material choice is essential for parts exposed to clean-in-place chemicals, steam, or direct food contact. Certified raw materials and material test reports are available upon request.

316 / 316L stainless steel

Exceptional resistance to pitting and corrosion caused by food acids, salt solutions, and harsh chlorine-based sanitation chemicals.

304 / 304L stainless steel

A standard choice for structural spacers, frame standoffs, and non-direct food contact components requiring reliable corrosion resistance.

POM, PEEK, and PTFE

Food-grade engineering plastics for self-lubricating wear sleeves, low-friction bushings, and electrical isolation spacers.

Aluminum alloys

6061-T6 and 7075 alloys for lightweight structural frames and non-contact moving parts, typically with hard anodizing.

Brass and copper

Precision spacers and fittings for liquid line valves or non-sparking mechanical subassemblies.

Production capabilities

CNC machining and secondary finishing

Multi-axis CNC turning and milling equipment supports both simple turned profiles and complex prismatic shapes, from prototype validation through repeat OEM production.

Surface integrity

Post-processing for food industry requirements

Secondary processing helps machined components resist corrosion, reduce surface roughness, and prevent bacteria or debris buildup.

Passivation

ASTM A967 / A380 passivation removes free iron from stainless steel surfaces and enhances the natural chromium oxide protective layer after machining.

Precision grinding and polishing

Reduces surface roughness and eliminates micro-cavities where bacteria or debris can accumulate.

Hard anodizing

Type III hard anodizing creates a wear-resistant, non-reactive aluminum oxide layer for structural aluminum parts in washdown environments.

Laser marking

Applies part numbers, lot codes, or alignment marks permanently without introducing contamination hazards.

Direct-from-manufacturer value

Work directly with the manufacturing source for efficient communication, lead times, and production costs.

SpacerMFG is the right partner if:

  • ✓You are an OEM, machine builder, or engineering team designing or retrofitting food processing equipment.
  • ✓You have 2D engineering drawings in PDF or DXF, or 3D models in STEP or IGES, ready for quotation.
  • ✓Your application requires non-standard spacer lengths, custom wall thicknesses, custom steps, or specific stainless steel grades.
  • ✓You need a reliable manufacturer that can transition parts from prototype validation to volume production.

We are not the right fit if:

  • !You require standard off-the-shelf catalog hardware, such as DIN or ANSI washers supplied in small retail packaging.
  • !You do not have dimensional specifications or technical drawings for the required components.
